    • Stay Alive Produced by Grassroots Suicide Prevention, this is a pocket resource aimed at helping people to stay safe. You can use it if you are having thoughts of suicide or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide. It includes a lot of information, including a safety plan feature:

    • Young Minds - A UK leading charity committed to improving the emotional well being and mental health of children and young people and empowering their parents and carers. You can find a confidential parents helpline, information about their campaigns, their publications and help and guidance for children and young people. They also advise professionals including teachers, school nurses, social workers and counsellors. 



    • Self Injury Support – This charity offers a comprehensive ‘resource hub’ at their website. They also provide TESS, a text and email support service for girls and young women up to the age of 24, as well as an online chat facility: text 07800 472908 sunday to Thursday 7pm-9pm
    • Harmless – A user-led charity providing a range of services including support, information, training and consultancy to those who self-harm, their friends, families and professionals.
    • LifeSigns – Provides self-injury guidance and a support forum. The website includes guidance and factsheets to download.
